I found this little guy in a store in Austin today, and I just had to get him. The thought of different round, nice, white, unpainted shapes, is fantastic. He comes in different colors, and with markers to paint him with.
I just don’t know if I ever could paint him though. Maybe just a couple of simple eyes, and thats it. But I have to give it some time. Apparently he comes with all kinds of accessories, but I think he stands better alone.
It always puzzles me why I love white unpainted things so much, and I think I found the answer. It excites me to look at it, because it represents creative opportunities. However, if i paint it, the opportunities narrow, and then disappears. Its gone!
The solution: Always get two of them (unless they are really expensive). In this way you can go bananas on one of them, without losing your blank canvas!
